Everything you want to know before your first tour — straight from the heart of Laly Love.
Laly Love welcomes children from 6 weeks through 12 years old. We serve infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children — all in a warm, home-based setting that grows with your family.
We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and major CT state holidays. A full holiday schedule is available on our Contact page.

Laly Love participates in the CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program), which means we provide nutritious, federally-supported breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks every day — at no extra cost to families. Menus follow USDA nutrition guidelines.
Yes. Laly Love Children Daycare is fully licensed by the CT Office of Early Childhood (OEC), license number DCF.56946. Our home is inspected regularly to ensure a safe, compliant environment for all children.
The first step is a no-pressure tour! Visit our home, meet Gladys, see the space, and ask every question. Tours take about 45 minutes. You can request one on our Contact page or by calling (860) 906-1234. After the tour, we’ll walk you through paperwork and next steps.
To protect all children in our care, children must stay home if they have a fever of 100.4°F or higher, vomiting, diarrhea, or a contagious illness (pink eye, strep, etc.). Children must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning. See our full Policies page for details.
Absolutely. Gladys and our team provide care in both English and Spanish throughout the day. Bilingual exposure from an early age supports language development and creates a welcoming environment for all families in our community.
As a licensed family child care home, we follow CT OEC ratio requirements: 1:4 for infants/toddlers and up to 1:6 for mixed-age groups, with a maximum of 6 children total. Small group sizes mean every child gets individual attention.
Our structured day balances learning through play, circle time, outdoor activity, meals, rest, and enrichment. We follow age-appropriate routines that give children the predictability they need to thrive — while leaving room for curiosity and fun.
Yes. We welcome children with special needs and work closely with families to provide individualized, inclusive support. Gladys has experience caring for children with a range of needs and believes every child deserves patient, loving care.
