Clear policies help us keep every child safe, healthy, and thriving. Please review these before your first day.
Hours & Attendance
- Operating hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Drop-off: No later than 9:00 AM unless prior arrangement is made
- Pick-up: By 5:00 PM sharp. A late fee of $1/minute applies after 5:00 PM
- Absences: Please notify us by 7:30 AM if your child will not be attending
- Holidays: We observe CT state holidays — a full calendar is provided at enrollment
Health & Illness Policy
- Children must stay home if they have a fever of 100.4°F or higher
- Children with vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious illness (pink eye, strep throat, hand-foot-mouth, lice) must remain home
- A child must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning (without fever-reducing medication)
- If a child becomes ill during the day, parents will be called and must pick up within 1 hour
- Current immunization records are required per CT OEC licensing regulations
Tuition & Payment
- Tuition is due every Friday for the following week (one week in advance)
- A late payment fee of $25 applies if payment is not received by Monday morning
- We accept Care 4 Kids and Early Start CT subsidies — families are responsible for any co-pay
- Two weeks written notice is required for withdrawal from the program
- Tuition is owed regardless of child absence, vacations, or holidays (unless provider closes)
Authorized Pick-Up & Safety
- Only individuals listed on your Authorized Pick-Up form may collect your child
- Photo ID will be requested from anyone not personally known to us
- Children will not be released to anyone not on the authorized list, regardless of relationship
- Please notify us in writing of any changes to your authorized pick-up list
- In case of a custody arrangement, court documents must be on file
Emergency Procedures
- In a medical emergency, 911 will be called immediately and parents notified
- We maintain a current First Aid & CPR certification as required by CT OEC
- Fire and emergency drills are conducted regularly per licensing requirements
- An emergency contact and medical authorization form is required for every child
- Parents are notified of any incidents, injuries, or unusual events on the same day
Behavior & Guidance
- We use positive guidance and redirection — never punishment, isolation, or physical discipline
- Consistent routines and clear, age-appropriate expectations help children feel secure
- Persistent behavioral concerns will be discussed with parents in a private, supportive conversation
- We work with families to support children with special behavioral or developmental needs

While our business provides early childhood care and education, our website is intended exclusively for use by parents, legal guardians, and adults.
